The app will let me download my magazines. When I view them it will load the ads but never the articles.

This app doesnt recognize that you have an existing ESPN Insider subscription, it only lets you purchase a new one. Totally useless app. If I could rate negative stars I would have
App crashes when opening a magazine. Please update app ! Wont buy any new issues until it works.
This app makes me sign in with an old email address associated with my ESPN account. It was working fine until it was asking me to subscribe to it. I can view it on the web just fine and my subscription is in good standing which I confirmed with ESPN support. They suggested I try logging in with my current email. I try it and do a password reset but I get no reset email
The app keeps telling me to subscribe every time I go into the app. Please fix.
Poor design and the app keeps crashing for me.
Paid for it and yet I cant sign in. Beware before spending the money!
App is terrible. Wont accept my login/password and freezes if I request my password. Seems to have forgotten Im a subscriber. Magazines arent available for download until days after I get an email saying they are ready. Customer service was no help/didnt respond on here occasions. Readability is mildly annoying. Have to click "text" to make it readable on the iPad mini, and then have to pull up and click another button to allow me to scroll again.
Over a year with no access using my Insider account. I can access on laptop, but not iPhone or iPad as my ID and password aren’t recognized. Rep says it’s a glitch that they are working to fix, but it’s been a year. C’mon man!
But once you get access, its great. 5 stars once they make it simple to login. If you cant login, chat with someone online or call customer support. They will send you a new password (only for this app and not your ESPN account) and you will be set. Poor planning on ESPNs account.
Silly me. I downloaded this with the expectation that I would be able to view issues digitally since Im already a print subscriber. You know...kinda like other mags that are available both digitally and in print form. Hmm...guess thats not the case. I have yet to find a way to create the requisite account from within this app to do what I want to do. I dont think its asking too much to accommodate that simple process.
I agree with reviewers who say they cannot download issues on my iPad. I used to email-provided pw with no luck. I changed the pw and still no luck. Someone at ESPN needs to work with someone at Apple to resolve this problem and in the meantime suspend sending emails telling Insider subscribers that they have access to digital copies of The Magazine.
Agree with what everyone else said. Tries to make you pay again for the mags
Been a subscriber since 2013 and old mags that Id like to re-read show as "buy now" for $3.99. Any mag older than March 2015 shows as buy now. Super lame! If I was a subscriber dating back to 2013, this account should give me free access to all mags that have been released since I began my subscription. Aside of that issue of ESPN wanting to double charge me, the magazines arent more than PDF scans. You cant select text, its not interactive, and text isnt scalable. This all results in a lot of pinch and zoom and panning, rather than a flipboard like experience. Worthless to me in its current iteration.
Why should I pay again for magazines I get as an ESPN insider?
I pay for print magazine and can finally get the digital version for free! Woohoo!
Been subscribed for three years and always end up missing a few of them in the mail. Really convenient.
I tried to log on a few months ago but like many others I was not successful. I deleted the app and forgot about. This week I received an email from ESPN indicating that my account had been set up. I used the credentials in the email - different than my normal Insider information - and was able to read the magazine. Not read it easily though. Because of the physical mags ginormous dimensions, the print is very small on an iPad. I do like the navigation and other features, though. Quite slick.
Loved it
All these people saying they cant log in blow my mind. Its not your normal ESPN or Apple login, you use the login info that they email to you. Took me less than a minute to download and successfully log in. App works fine.
