ESPN The Magazine App Reviews

Just like many others have written, I am a current Insider and ESPN The Mag subscriber however none of that matters with this app unless you subscribe and spend more money. Very poor user experience. Im sure the incremental revenue ESPN generated from this app was not worth all of the negative feelings that will be associated with their brand related to this app.

I can log in but it wont let me see any issues without re-buying them. Sad.

I did the subscription and it wont let me log in. It just tells me to login or use my Apple ID to subscribe. I cant do anything and I paid money for this crap. ESPN screw you.

Awful I have to remove it every time a new magazine appears and go through several steps to view my subscription. Why cant this be fixed?

Been a subscriber for years but cant login. Forgot password option wont even send an email. Problem hasnt been fixed in over a year. What a joke

I dont rate apps very often, but ESPN deserves some slack here. If you are a Subscriber to Insider, (and currently receive the mag through mail,) you DO get this for free. They supply a NEW PASSWORD for the digital version. It probably has something to do with Apple News Stand and in-app purchase policies. Works fine and looks great. Follow instructions, people.

I signed up despite all the bad reviews.... SMH.. I did it to myself. The app will not allow me to log back in. Even when I send forgot password, it still doesnt even send it. Yes I checked all my folders, spam, etc.... Trash.. Do not download

Love the app and it does what its meant for as far reading the magazine. I only wish the app updated account settings. I had to login with old credentials.

I have the print issue according to the info provided I should be able to log into the digital still unable to log in what a joke

The issue with harbaugh on the cover has nothing but blank pages when scrolling to the college football portion. FAQs say delete issue and re-download. Done it over 40x and still doesnt work. I email support and their solution: delete and re-download. THANKS!!!

Allows me to read the mags on the go

Paid for a subscription but none of my issues are available to read. Restoring iTunes purchases doesnt do a thing.

I have problems downloading magazines.

After this latest update the app no longer acknowledges my iTunes subscription nor does it let me access my previously purchased issues.

Despite having an active subscription, the app only gives me the option to buy issues or subscribe. Restoring purchases doesnt work, and when I tried to subscribe again it confirmed that I already have an active subscription. The app only worked properly for about 2 weeks before it began having these issues.

I lost all my issues between the update and the restore. Completely upset about not being able to access with my print subscription. Ugh! Get it together! Update 9/20/15 After I buckled and got the digital version-my digital issues wont restore. My purchase is too old to REPORT A PROBLEM. This system is a joke! Sports ILLUStrated is a much better choice simply because it works.

Having same trouble. It says u gotta subscribe and I do have subscription until August 2016. Worked fine until the update of last week.
